Are you caring for an infant? Before reading further, take a moment to pause and notice: Are you thirsty? Is your jaw relaxed or tight? Can you feel your breath moving through your body? When was the last time you looked up at the sky?
For many new parents and caregivers, these simple self-checks often go unnoticed. Our focus tends to revolve around our babies’ needs, leaving our own felt-sense experiences at the bottom of the priority list. But what if reconnecting with your body could benefit not only you but also your baby?
In this experiential workshop, we’ll explore how embodying presence—the ability to notice and be with your own body—can support you in your caregiving journey. Together, we’ll practice tuning inward to cultivate a more effective and connected outward presence. Through playful and grounding somatic exercises, we’ll explore emotional and physiological regulation and get curious about how to navigate moments of dysregulation.
You’ll leave with practical tools to regulate your nervous system, build emotional resilience, and foster deeper attunement with your baby. Babies are welcome to attend!
Pay What You Can: $15 - $30
